Yes you can, however since we no longer store real credit card information in your system, you can’t send credit card information via fax or email.

No, once you entered card information and received a token referencing that credit card, this information is stored on your local device for future selection.

No, since the reference data (token) is local an internet connection is not necessary to find and use existing card information.

Yes you do.  Since you are not permitted to store sensitive credit card information locally, you must enter that information directly into a secure server.  Once you have entered the card information, the internet connection is no longer required.

*Entry of New credit cards is no longer available on PPC’s after version 11

No it is not “required” to confirm an order or to tokenize a new card. (We still do recommend you put it in if you have it to ensure the highest security).

When you finish an order and select credit card as you payment method, you will be presented with all of the cards you have saved for that customer, including the type of card, last 4 digits of the card number, expiration date and card holder name and address.  All the information you need to be able to select the appropriate credit card.

Yes you will.  The token is generated based on the credit card number and expiration date.

You cannot store the CVV code with the credit card information, specifically the Primary Account Number (PAN). The CVV, when stored without the PAN is a second level of security that can improve supplier rates and validate that the customer has this card in their hand.

No, the token generated reference number used to replace the credit card number on your local device. We do still store the last 4 digits and expiration date in the system for you to know what credit card to select.
