solutions, has announced that it will be upgrading the mapping feature of its popular SalesOptimizer
product transforming it from an analysis tool, used primarily by senior management, into a multi-functional,
interactive mapping tool that will allow sales representatives on the road to work more efficiently.
The improved service utilizes cutting-edge technology provided by Microsoft’s Virtual Earth program to allow
users to perform a variety of useful tasks. From a single page users can view a geographic spread of their
customers along with detailed information about how each account has been performing. They’ll also have
instant access to detailed dashboards and reports without having to maneuver through the menu system.
“This feature enables sales representatives to manage their client base more efficiently while still

Users of the advanced mapping feature will be able to hover over a particular retailer and have an immediate
view of all the information they need to determine the viability of a client visit. With another click, they
can add the client to a daily planner or get an actual satellite view of the client’s location. Real-time
traffic reports and weather information can be overlaid on their map to help as they plan their sales calls.
The program will also feature a special search function that allows users to search within their travel area
for particular businesses related to their line package thereby providing instant ad hoc prospecting.
